Penny Auction Time Limit Rules

Posted on March 17, 2011 by

The time limit set on penny auctions sites can be quite short. The bidding clock can be set at 15 seconds. Each time a person places a bid another fifteen seconds is placed on the clock. When no bids are placed the clock begins to run out of time. This is what the last bidder hopes for, as that puts them in place to win the coveted prize.

These auctions are often seen as a form of entertainment simply due to the fast pace at which they operate. Not even E-Bay can come close in paralleling the thrill to be made in this style of bidding war.

When the clock runs out, you not only have won the item but hold the responsibility of paying the shipping and handling charges to have the item delivered to your home.
